This 5k is a fundraising event that also includes a one-mile fun run for the kids! Our goal is to raise funds for our local veterans as well as Safe Haven of Iowa County, which is a non-profit animal rescue and adoption organization also serving as Iowa County’s animal pound. The VFW Auxiliary was founded to serve and improve the communities in which our veterans live. We donate to and volunteer at the local VA hospital, fund veterans’ tombstone restoration, offer yearly scholarships to the Williamsburg High School, support local active-duty personnel, and partner with local organizations
